Custom cat sculptures, poised in light and shadow
Cats carry an unmistakable silhouette: the alert angle of the ears, the curve of the back, the sweep of the tail. Shadow Pets turns one photograph of your cat into a hand-finished bas-relief portrait framed in a deep timber shadow box.
Delicate ear geometry & profile contours
A cat’s likeness lives in subtle geometry: the upright triangle of the near ear, the gentle curve of the forehead nose bridge, and the poised arch of the neck. Our relief modeling preserves these fine contours in crisp lateral cross-section.
Short-hair sleekness vs. long-hair ruffs & plumes
Whether your companion is a sleek Domestic Shorthair, Burmese, or Siamese, or a long-coated Maine Coon, Ragdoll, or Persian with a full chest ruff and sweeping tail plume, our carving adapts to their exact coat volume.
Balanced posture & tail drape
From an upright seated posture with the tail wrapped neatly around the paws to a poised walking silhouette, the sculpture floats cleanly on the linen backing board, casting natural shadow depth across the frame.

FAQ
Questions about custom cat sculptures
- Can you sculpt a cat from a seated or loafing photo?
- Yes. Our studio works from a single clear photo of your cat and translates their likeness into a balanced, gallery-ready lateral bas-relief profile. You will see the exact result in your free digital preview before paying anything.
- Which edition suits a cat sculpture best?
- All three editions share the same 14" × 11" (35.6 × 27.9 cm) framed dimensions and $299 USD price. Canvas (matte white in natural timber) warms sunlit rooms, Porcelain (white on white) reads like delicate carved porcelain, and Obsidian (matte charcoal in black timber) brings dramatic evening contrast.
- Is this suitable as a cat memorial keepsake?
- Yes. Because only one saved photograph from your camera roll is needed, many cat owners commission a piece to honour a companion who has passed away with a permanent framed object.
