The warmest of the three: the relief is finished in a solid matte white, set deep in a natural timber shadow box. Detail reads through shadow alone. As daylight moves through the room, the sculpted fur and contours shift with it.

The palest of the three: a matte-white relief set in a white shadow box, white on white, with the whole piece defined by nothing but light and shadow. It reads like carved porcelain, calm and clean.

The moodiest of the three: a deep matte charcoal relief in a black shadow box. The dark surface holds light differently: edges catch while hollows recede, so the piece reads as dramatic, especially under evening or lamp light.
